Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, the multi starrer super hit film is Directed and produced by Prakash Mehra, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, Raakhee, Rekha. Released on the 27th of October 1978.
Ramnath (Sriram Lagoo) Is a wealthy man where young Sikandar (Mayur) is working. Ramnath has a young daughter Kaamna (Raakhee) who feels sympathy for Sikandar, makes friends with him. He is adopted by Fatima (Nirupa Roy) who also works there. On Kaamna’s birthday Sikandar is not allowed in so he climbs the building and goes to her room to give her gift but is blamed for stealing so Ramnath throws the mother and son out of the house. Within a few days Fatima dies, he has the responsibility of looking after Fatima’s daughter Mehroo.
A fakir is on his way when he blesses Sikandar that he will be conquer the world someday. In a few years Sikandar makes a lot of money and builds a beautiful house for him and his sister but has not forgotten Kaamna.
Ramnath falls into hardships but does not accept help from Sikandar, Kaamna snubs him, so he takes to alcohol, starts visiting a brothel where he meets Zohra Begum (Rekha), a prostitute who falls in love with him but Dilawar (Amjad Khan) is in love with Zohra Begum who is a criminal.
Sikandar and Vishal (Vinod Khanna) become good friends. To cut it short Vishal works for Ramnath and falls in love with Kaamna and they get married. Sikandar collapses on Vishal’s lap dies confessing that he was always in love with Kaamna.
