Simran, played by Mallika Sherawat is married to her late sister’s husband Sudhir, played by Ashmit Patel, so their son has a mother. But she is unhappy with this setting as a wife. She is lonely and feels deprived of love and passion, since her husband is a workaholic and gives her no attention. One day she comes across her ex-boyfriend Sunny, played by Emraan Hashmi during college days and is instantly attracted to him. Soon one thing leads to another and they end up spending many intimate moments together. She is now neck deep in the affair with Sunny.
Simran later comes to know that Sunny has also been seeing another woman named Radhika and cuts all ties with him immediately as guilt builds up in her. Sudhir somehow begins to suspect something fishy and hires a private detective to keep an eye on Simran. The detective shows pictures of Sunny and Simran together. Next day the police arrive at their home looking for Sunny since he has gone missing as reported by his girlfriend Radhika. Simran is horrified to find their pictures with Sudhir and confront him. He tells her Sunny and him had a scuffle and he killed him. She takes the blame for his murder, but later Sudhir tells the cops he is the real killer.
Later Sunny is shown to be alive and planned the whole scne with Radhika to get Sudhir arrested. However in the end the police shoot Sunny when he tries to fatally attack Sudhir. The movie is directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Mukesh & Mahesh Bhatt. The music is composed by Anu Malik and Raju Rao.
