The movie which spoke of the highly sensitive socio- political climate of our times from the perspectives of some Muslim people stranded in the US during the ever-disturbing 9/11 attacks.

My Name is Khan starts of by showing the troubled growing up of Rizwan Khan who suffers from Autism living in Mumbai with his mother and younger brother living in the US.  Rizwan Khan’s considered to be a normal person only by his ever loving mother and he is a especially able lad in the blocks.  However after his mother’s death his charge is reluctantly taken up by his younger brother along with his wife. There he goes on to meet a Muslim girl ( Kajol). The rest of the movie narrates the changes that happen in their peaceful life set against the 9/11 which prompt’s him to set out on a journey to meet the President of the US.
