Janki Kapoor lives a poor lifestyle with her two sons Vicky and Ravi. They struggle to make ends meet on a day to day basis. Soon the boys grow up and Ravi earns a decent living and is the responsible one in the family. Vicky on the other hand is always having a run in with the law and creating trouble for all. He finds out that the city of Dubai has many Indians who are doing well and thus decides to try his luck as well. Reluctantly Ravi arranges for all paper work for him to travel to Dubai. As time passes by, the family does not hear from Vicky and get increasingly worried. Turns out Vicky has run into trouble once again and is forced to work for a smuggler named Rana in order to stay away from the authorities. He is too ashamed to let his family know about his plight. The film is directed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Kumar Gaurav Rajendra Kumar. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The star cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Kumar Gaurav, Paresh Rawal, Nutan, Amrita Singh, Poonam Dhillon, Akash Khurana, Ram Mohan, Gurbachan and Ghanshyam.
