Rajiv is brought up in a wealthy family by his mother, who wants him to settles down. She wishes that he should marry the daughter of Thakur Ajay but Rajiv shocks her by telling that he is already in love with a girl named Rajni. Rajni is incidentally an orphan with no background or family. This makes Rajiv’s mother skeptical and she refuses to let them marry. However, one meeting with Rajni and she changes her mind. She arranges their marriage with grand celebrations. Soon Rajiv and Rajni have settled into marital bliss. Their happiness however does not last very long with the entry of a sadhu and snake charmer named Bhairo Nath.
Bhairo Nath immediately recognizes Rajni and tells Rajiv’s mother that she is a shape-shifting snake and will take her revenge on the family soon. He makes Rajni dance to lure her into giving him the precious Mani but Rajiv intervenes. There is a fist fight between Bhairo and Rajiv, and ultimately the sadhu is bitten by two snakes. The film is directed and produced by Harmesh Malhotra. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and the story is written by Jagmohan Kapoor. The star cast includes Rishi Kapoor, Sridevi, Prem Chopra, Amrish Puri, Viju Khote, Jagdeep, Sushma Seth and Komal.
