Krishna, played by Govinda, is a hard working man who has built his business solely on his own. He is however distressed and tries to commit suicide, when he is stopped by a man called Chaban. He then helps Krishna in his business. One day a man called Deepak, played by Rahul Roy, comes for an interview to his office and is hired. Krishna being helpful, decides to drop Deepak home when his car breaks down. On reaching his house he meets his wife Pooja, played by Mamta Kulkarni and gets the shock of his life. Turns out that Krishan and Pooja were lovers in the past. In fact he was a small time mechanic who falls in love with a rich girl like Pooja. But her father insults him and gives him money to start his own factory.
Krishna decides he will stand on his own feet and only then marry Pooja. However it is too late and her father gets her married to Deepak. All the memories come rushing back to his head. One day at a party in Krishna’s house, Deepak and Pooja are invited and Krishna misbehaves with Pooja. In a fit of rage Deepak slaps Krishna. Krishna apologizes but later gets Deepak falsely accused of money embezzling. He asks her father for Pooja in return for Deepak’s release but she is infuriated. Later it is learnt that her father had burned the letter Krishna had once written to Pooja. Krishna not able to bear the pain, commits suicide.
The movie is directed by Kirti Kumar and produced by Vinay Kumar Sinha. The star cast includes Saeed Jaffrey, Shakti Kapoor and Kader Khan. The music is composed by Nadeem Shravan and the lyrics are written by Sameer.
