Kishen works as a salesman and has a dominating father. He is
forced to marry his father’s friends daughter Chando who is a
village girl. When he sees Chando he is shocked as she is dark
skinned, lacks social etiquettes and is not pleasing in
appearance. He is upset but decides to stay with her. Soon he
meets a beautiful girl called Radha at an office award function
and falls in love with her and marries her. One of Kishen’s
colleague refuses to take up a transfer and so Kishen willingly
goes in his place to avoid his wife. His father however forces
him to take Chando along.
However when Kishen sees Radha he leaves Chando behind
along at the railway station. He goes back to get her but sees
her missing. To his shock she pretends to be his house-maid
and does not disclose her identity to Radha. Kishen’s guilt soon
kicks in. The film is directed by T Rama Rao and produced by K
C Bokadia. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The
star cast includes Rishi Kapoor, Farha, Radhika, Amrish Puri,
Rakesh Bedi, Satyen Kappu, Seema Deo and Ashalata.
