Veerendra Pratap Singh lives a wealthy lifestyle in a palatial house with his daughter Seema and son Vikram. Seema is a qualified doctor while Vikram is directionless and an alcoholic. They both seem to have quite different personalities and are at loggerheads with each other at most times. Seema meanwhile falls in love with a fellow doctor named Anand and both would like to marry each other. Problem is that Anand comes from a poor background and this is a reason for rejection from her brother Vikram. He wants Seema to marry Dr Anil, who is from a similar status like them. Seema however will not change her mind. Just when things seemed to be going her way, fate takes a different turn. Anand is accused of killing one of his patients with a illegal drug. There is an inquiry against him and this puts his marriage to Seema in jeopardy. The film is directed by Rajat Rakshit and produced by Vijay Salankar. The music is composed by Usha Khanna. The star cast includes Govinda, Mandakini,Reeta Bhaduri, Raza Murad, Gulshan Grover, Saeed Jaffrey and Bharat Bhushan.
