Vijay, Ajay and Jeet are close friends. Vijay is the brother of a well known journalist, while Ajay is a cop and Jeet is the son of a wealthy industrialist. All three friends end up falling in love with a girl named Rekha at different times. But Rekha falls in love with Vijay and both are soon to be engaged. Rekha’s father has an obligation to Jeet’s father and decides to let his daughter marry Jeet. The latter father isn’t happy about Jeet and Vijay’s friendship and thus he makes sure he comes to know about Vijay’s and Rekha’s previous affair. This creates a rift between the friends. Vijay’s brother Arvind, who is a journalist finds incriminating evidence against Jeet’s father but the latter kills him. Vijay then swear revenge for his brother’s death. In the mean time Jeet comes to know about his father’s illegal activities and saves Vijay while sacrificing his own life. The film is directed by Anil Ganguly and produced by Pradeep Sharma. The music is composed by Kalyanji Anandji. The star cast includes Shashi Kapoor, Jeetendra, Rakesh Roshan, Rekha, Shreeram Lagu, Deven Verma, A K Hangal, Anoop Kumar, Bindu and Geeta Siddharath.
