Notebook is an upcoming film to be released on the 29th March 2019. The romantic drama film produced by Salman Khan under his banner Salman Khan films and is directed by Nitin Kakkar. Starring Zaheer Iqbal and debutant Pranutan Bahl in the pivotal roles.The film is a remake of the film Teacher’s Diary released in 2014
Notebook is an interesting story of Pranutan’s lonely journey in the school as she strives to impart education in the most deserted location where the school is located in the midst a lake in Kashmir. Pranutan has acted well with conviction for in the role as the teacher. A former army officer takes up a job as a teacher as well in the remote school and when he discovers a notebook of a previous instructor, he soon finds himself falling in love with the woman he has never met before.
The film has crackling dialogues and gives an insight to the authentic love story of two lovers, Firdaus and Kabir and the support cast with child artists who also play the pivotal role in the film. Pranutan has compared her role to Jaya Bachchan’s role in Sholay, mainly for the locales in the valleys.
