Amit, played by Abhay Deol is living a very de-motivated life. His professional life has been suffering and personal life hasn’t been great either where his girlfriend Radhika has dumped him for another guy. Heartbroken and mocked by colleagues, he is still not over his girlfriend. Meanwhile Samara, played by Preeti Desai wants to be a dancer and is dating Jonathan, played by Yudishtir Urs who gets easily jealous.
Samara participates in a dance reality show, which is produced by Ranjan, played by Diwakar Pundir who is Radhika’s current boyfriend. Learning this Amit hacks the winner’s list and the usual winners end up losing even Samara. This creates lot of backlash and the show loses its charm. Amit tries to get Radhika back in his life but she refuses and humiliates him. Meanwhile Samara learns that her father who left her mother years back because of her alcohol problem doesn’t love or acknowledge her.
Samara gets back on the reality show as a wild card entry and uses Amit’s song for her final performance. This makes him popular while Samara mysteriously vanishes after the performance, which makes her lose the dance competition.
One by Two is directed by Devika Bhagat and produced by Amit Kapoor, Abhay Deol, Sanjay Kapoor Vikram, Khakar and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The music is composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy.
