Oos Raat Ke Baad is a hindi film of the thriller genre. This film is directed and produced by YB Siraj and its screenplay, dialogues and story are written by Prabodh Joshi. This film’s soundtrack includes various songs such as: ‘’Bahot Achhe Lago To Jaan” sung by Asha Bhosle and Mukesh, followed by,’’Bhari Mehfil Mein Ishare Se” sung by Asha Bhosle and lastly ‘’Jaam Utha Ke Tod Ke” sung by Bula Gupta,music for this film is provided by Hemanta Mukherjee and lyrics are written by Gulzar. Also, the title track was sung by Anil Kumar and its lyrics were written by Gohar Kanpuri .This hindi film’s story mainly revolves around Thakur Sunder Singh(Sanjeev Kumar) a rich and wealthy landlord who lives with his daughter Sharmila(Tanuja) and his greedy brother Thakur Madan Singh(Madan Puri) at their estate. Sunder Singh suffers from several health problems such as anxiety, asthma, and heart problems which happened due to his past as he had an affair with a village girl who gave birth to his illegitimate son, whom he further rejected in order to preserve his family’s honour and pride. Later, Sharmila falls in love with Doctor Shyam, who is called upon to treat her father. Madan Singh who seeks to control the estate conflicts by informing Sunder Singh about his daughter’s relationship which causes a rift and Sunder Singh’s anger ends up getting him a massive heart attack and Sharmila tries to ease his suffering by ending her love affair with the doctor. When Sharmila’s birthday party occurs, Sunder Singh attacks Doctor Shyam after Madan Singh spots him visiting Sharmila. Further, Sharmila leaves the manor while Madan Singh marries a mujra dancer, which further torments Sunder Singh. As his health deteriorates, Madan Singh manipulates Sunder Singh into signing a new will. With the help of corrupt doctors and nurses, he withholds Sunder Singh’s medicine, leading to his death. Madan Singh frames Doctor Shyam for the murder, but Sharmila, upon returning, is haunted by her father’s ghost. As she investigates, she discovers the shocking truth that the "ghost" is none other than Sunder Singh’s illegitimate son who seeks revenge for his father’s past rejection. The son reveals Madan Singh’s role in Sunder Singh’s death, leading to Madan Singh’s arrest. The plot unravels, and justice is served when the police uncover the criminal activities of Madan Singh and his accomplices. This hindi film ends with Sharmila finding eternal peace and harmony.
