Luke, played by Kay Kay Menon, Murgi, played by Aditya Shrivastava, Pondy, played by Vijay Maurya and joy, played by Joy Fernandes are close friends who play for a music band. Luke is the lead singer and the leader of the pack, who provides the rest with food, accommodation and drugs. Shiuli, played by Tejaswini Kolhapure, is the female member in their band. She sleep with rich men for their money and this intrigues Pondy, who is besotted by her. The friends are mostly broke and somehow mange to make ends meet.
Meanwhile the band gets involved in a kidnapping that goes horribly wrong. They kidnap one their rich friend’s Nikhil, who himself is willing to be kidnapped, so as to extract money from his rich father. However things go horribly wrong when a fight ensues between Luke and Nikhil, where Luke ends up killing him. He then warns all the other to not open their mouths in front of any cop. The gang now have no choice but to also kill Nikhil’s father and a cop who is investigating the murder.
The movie is directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Tutu Sharma. The music is composed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The cinematography is by Natarajan Subramaniam.
