Jailor Shamsher Singh is an honest and compassionate man. He loves his sister very much and comes to know that she has fallen in love with someone. Excitedly he finds out that she has fallen for non other than the notorious gangster Pasha and his happiness turns to horror. He is completely against this alliance and warns his sister of the crude man, but she is blinded by his love and marries him anyway. Soon Shamsher gets another shock of his life when his sister comes at his door step a few years later holding her infant in her arms. She is battered and bruised, and tells Shamsher that Pasha married her only to extract revenge from him. She hands him her baby and dies.

 

Shamsher is devastated and raises Pasha’s son Vijay as his own and decides to make him an honest police officer. Pasha meanwhile wants to take revenge on the jailor and kidnaps his only son Ashok and names him Suraj, to be a criminal like him. As time passes Vijay and Suraj both grow up and fall in love with the same girl Aarti. Pasha’s revenge meanwhile, is far from over. The film is directed by Shibu Mitra and produced by Pahlaj Nihalani. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri and the story is written by Ram Kelkar. The star cast includes Sunny Deol, Chunkey Pandey, Neelam, Pran, Danny Denzongpa, Shakti Kapoor, Paintal, Pinchoo Kapoor, Mac Mohan, Sudhir, Birbal, Manmoujee, Rubina, Geeta Siddharath, Sarla Yeolekar, Seema Deo and Renu Joshi.
