Ram Kumar Singh comes to Bombay from his village in Allahabad for better future prospects and a much better job. Just when he is exiting the train on reaching Bombay, his money and clothes are stolen from him. He then escapes the cops and hides in a taxi driven by Rahim Khan. The kind hearted Rahim Khan drives Ram to his house and offers him food as well as a place to stay. He even gives him a taxi to drive and earn money. Soon the two become close friends. Then Ram meets Reshma who is studying in a well known college and fall in love. Slowly Ram manages to get a good paying job and finds his own accommodation.
Little does Ram know that Rahim is involved in illegal activities. What Rahim also doesn’t know is that Ram is an under cover police officer. Who is out to arrest him for a man’s murder. The movie is directed by HarmeshMalhotra and produced by M M Malhotra and Baldev Pushkarna. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and the lyrics are written by Anand Bakshi. The screenplay is written by Ravi Kapoor. The cinematography is by Shyam Rao and the choreography is by Rekha Chinni Prakash and Saroj Khan. The star cast includes Dharamendra,Jeetendra, Jaya Pradha,Madhuri Dixit and AmrishPuri.
