The British have invaded a small part of India and are now ruling there. They are terrorizing the innocent and having their way with the poor. One man however who is not willing to bow down to the British force and rule is the brave and clever Palay Khan. He swears to protect the people of his region by all means in whatever situation he might be in. The British hear of Palay Khan and are desperate to capture him however it is not an easy task to accomplish. They then device a plan and kidnap one of his chief and trusted associates Amar Singh.
Palay Khan is infuriated knowing about Amar Singh and as a lesson for the British, he and his gang abduct the British General’s daughter Helen. Soon Palay and Helen fall in love. Their love though forbidden might be the ray of hope to change the hatred into love that so many Indian’s are looking for. The film is directed by Ashim Samanta and is produced by Shakti Samanta. The music is composed by R.D Burman. The star cast includes Jackie Shroff, Poonam Dhillon, Farha, Anupam Kher, Shakti Kapoor, Suresh Oberoi, Satyen Kappu, Puneet Issar, Dinesh Thakur, Roopesh kumar, Mac Mohan, Tom Alter, Raza Murad, Sushma Seth and Preeti Sapru.
