Palki is an Emotional-Musical Romantic Family Drama Film exceptionally crafted by Mahesh Kaul. The Story revolves around the life of Naseem (played by Rajendra Kumar)- An Artistic Poet living in a poor lifestyle in a village and gets invited to competition after his poems won a huge prize- but his dressing attire was not good and that's why they tend not to give the prize. Mehroo (played by Waheeda Rehman)- A Sweet girl fell in love with him and they get married- but her brother Nawab (played by Rehman) wanted the prize money and so Naseem wents to Mumbai for Earning money and an incident caused him to hospitalized but Nawab told her sister- he is dead, leading her to heartbreak- when Naseem returned to his home and finds corpses of Mehroo, leading to consequences.
