Vikram and his brother Yatin are close and run an import export business together. While on a trip to Nepal, Vikram meets the beautiful and charming Sadhavi, who is a painter by profession. Vikram feels that Sadhavi will be a perfect wife for his brother Yatin so he gets them to meet. Soon Sadhavi and Vikram get married in a grand ceremony. However a few months after the wedding she is unhappy as she feels that Yatin married her only for sexual pleasures and doesn’t really care about her and her feelings. So, distressed she leaves for her hometown in Nepal.
Vikram on hearing of Sadhavi leave feels bad for the family and decides to make amends. He then travels to Nepal to get Sadhavi back and ends up becoming close to her. Soon Vikram and Sadhavi have an affair. Meanwhile Sadhavi decides to leave the worldly pleasures and attain sainthood. The film is directed and produced by Basu Bhattacharya. The music is composed by Sarang Dev. The star cast includes Suresh Oberoi, Dipti Naval, Akbar Khan and Anuradha Tarafdar.
