Three close friends are studying in the Indian National Defense Academy together. They all have different dreams and aspirations but primarily they love their country and are ready to even die for it. On completion of the course, one friend becomes an Army officer, one becomes a Naval officer and the third becomes an Air Force officer. They all however fall in love with the same girl. On her birthday thy decide to propose to her but a war starts to wage. The girl who is actually in love with the Naval officer learns that they all love her but she doesn’t want to break their heart. When the war is going on she prays for them, and the three friends feel their nation is supreme even bigger than love.
The movie is directed and produced by Ashok Kaul. The music is composed by Ravindra Jain. The cinematography is by Radhu Karmakar. The star cast includes Kulbhushan Kharbanda,Tariq Shah, Hema Malini, SaeedJafri,Navin Nischol,Raza Murad,Raghuvir Yadav,Rajeshwari,Rajesh Shringarpure, Abhijit Sengupta and Salim Shaikh.
