Pari, starring Anushka Sharma, Parambrata Chatterjee, Rajat Kapoor and Ritabhari Chakraborty, is a dark horror film and a supernatural thriller. On a heavily rain affected night, while returning home with his family post fixing his marriage with Piyali (Ritabhari), Arnab’s (Parambrata) car runs over a creepy looking woman. Circumstances and police intervention lead Arnab to discover the dead woman’s strange daughter, Rukhsana (Anushka Sharma), chained in a hut inside a deserted jungle. When Professor Qasim Ali (Rajat Kapoor) and his men come to kidnap Rukhsana, she escapes and manages to get shelter in Arnab’s abode. Will rescuing the mysterious Rukhsana without knowing her true identity land Arnab in trouble? Will the traumatized and troubled Rukhsana find comfort in Arnab?
