Prem, played by Salman Khan works as a love guru, where he helps people find their dream partners and get them hitched. He has helped many people settle happily by getting people their perfect love story. One man who hears about his services is Bhaskar, played by Govinda. He has fallen in love with his wealthy and beautiful boss Priya, played by Katrina Kaif, but doesn’t know how to approach her and thus he goes to Prem for help. He trains him how to attract Priya so she falls in love with him.
Meanwhile Prem himself falls for a pretty journalist named Naina, played by Lara Dutta. She is a single mother of a toddler. She is apparently investigating the case of a man who claims to be Love guru and gets people hitched. Sadly one of her friends have had a bad experience where the guy takes advantage of her. Prem tries to woo Priya and eventually she falls for his funny ways. But when Priya comes to know that Prem is the real love guru she is infuriated and leaves him. Meanwhile Bhaskar and Priya fall in love and get engaged.
Priya comes to know that it was a misunderstanding and begins to love Prem again. The movie is directed by David Dhawan and produced by Sohail Khan and Parag Sanghvi. The music is composed by Sajid-Wajid and the cinematography is by Johny Lal.
