Damyanti Rane is a wealthy widow living a comfortable lifestyle. She hosts a lavish party for the film and art society patrons. Celebs and artists from all walks of life are invited to celebrate Diwakar Barve who has just received the National Literary Award. The party begins with full gusto but soon the conversations turn vindictive and malicious. They then begin taking about Amrit, a great artist who left everything to go and live with the tribal community. Even though Amrit is not present physically, almost every guest one time or the other brings him up in their conversation. Sadly just as the party is going on, there is news that he has been killed by the cops for being a left-wing terrorist. The film is directed by Govind Nihalani and produced by N F D C.
