Rahul, is a struggling actor who is waiting for his big break in movies. He has always dreamt of becoming a successful film star and gaining fame and recognition. He thus decides to go to Mumbai to try his luck and steals Rs 5000 from his father. On reaching Mumbai he meets Parveen Bobby who is a successful fashion designer. They both become friends and eventually fall in love. He struggles to find work and is finding it hard to make ends meet, but Parveen helps him out and supports him financially as well. Rahul then meets Barkha Rani, a film actress and gets involved with her. She satisfies her lust with him and then helps him out by getting him work in movies.
Barkha entangles Rahul into a fraud case and he gets arrested. Rahul’s world comes crumbling down and his reputation gets tarnished. He asks Parveen to help him out who in turn asks his father to pay the bail money but he agrees only on the condition that he marries Parveen but he refuses. A heartbroken Parveen helps Rahul anyway and sleeps with a financier to get the bail money. Eventually Rahul realizes that Parveen Bobby is his true love.
The movie is directed by Sandeep Kumar and produced by Ravi Ahlawat. The music is composed by Dilip Sen-Sameer Sen. The star cast includes Ravi Ahlawat, Amrita Dhanoa, Kashish Duggal, Mohan Joshi, Mushtaq Khan, Banwarilal Jhol, Krishan Solanki, Mohit Sharma and Kimti Anand.
