Paying Guest is an Emotional- Romantic Musical-Comedy-Thriller Family Drama Film crafted with excellence and written by Subodh Mukherji. The Story revolves around the life of Advocate Ramesh Kumar (played by Dev Anand)- A Kind-Hearted man shifts to the city for the sake of employment and joins as an assistant to renowned Advocate- Dayal (played by Gajanan Jagirdar) living with his beautiful wife- Chanchal (played by Shubha Khote)- who fells in love with him. However, he disguises himself as an old man for the sake of Shelter as the owner won't give shelter to Bachelors and he falls in love with Shanti (played by Nutan)- A Sweet girl of the owner, and wanted to marry her. Things get complicated- after an incident, leading to consequences.
