Rakhi married the illiterate Ramu and was happy to be with innocent and honest man. He wanted to gain education but due to the cast discrimination in his village he never got to study. Rakhi being brought up in a modern society had received a little bit of education in her early years and thus offered to teach him whatever she could. Shastriji saw the spark of learning in Ramu and got him admission in his night school. He however took the Guru Dakshina from Ramu that he would spread the education he gains to the unprivileged. Ramu however had to flee the village as his sister had eloped with her lover. Ramu and Rakhi reach Bombay and work hard to earn a living. There they open their own night school called RamDass Vidya Mandir. The film is directed and produced by Kedar Sharma. The music is composed by Snehal Bhatkar. The star cast includes Pratap Sharma, Sapana Sarang, Dinesh Hingoo and Ranga Rao.
