Tamanna, played by Shilpa Shetty works for a top ad agency as their creative head. She is well respected and looked up by her bosses and colleagues for her dedication and brilliance. She takes a leave to go on for a college reunion trip. There she meets her old friend Rohit, played by Salman Khan. They both rekindle their lost love and end up having a one night stand. They both then return to their respective lives. Meanwhile Tamanna’s younger sister has a severe accident and is admitted to the hospital. Tamanna decides to donate her blood to her sister. However, the doctor who tests her blood gives her the shocking news that she is HIV positive. Tamanna’s seemingly perfect world shatters on hearing this news.
Tamanna realizes that the only person who could have given her AIDS would have to be Rohit. Thus she desperately tries to contact him but is unable to reach him. The news of her diagnosis spreads like wildfire. She is fired from her job citing silly reason like she isn’t doing her job well, is not productive, etc. After many lawyers refuse to take up her case, she hires Tarun, played by Abhishek Bachchan, a lawyer, to sue the ad agency for damages. Unfortunately they lose the case and refile the case in high court. Meanwhile Tamanna locates Rohit and goes to meet him who is battling for his life in a hospital. He eventually dies. Tamanna fights the case more aggressively and finally wins the case against her former company.
The movie is directed by Revathi and produced by Suresh Balaje. The film is written by Atul Sabharwal. The music is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Bhavatha Raja and Nikhil-Vinay. The cinematography is by Ravi Varman.
