Rahul is a film director and a hopeless alcoholic. He sent to a rehabilitation center where he meets another fellow inmate named Pooja. Pooja is a schizophrenic and has deep rooted mental issues. After some initial friction, Pooja and Rahul become friends. They eventually end up falling in love. However, Pooja’s erratic behavior makes the relationship very tough. Things get from bad to worse and she is sent to a mental asylum to recover. One day there is a horrific accident and the mental institution catches fire. Pooja dies with the other patients. Rahul is deavastated and unable to come to terms with Pooja’s passing.
After a few days Rahul begins to get calls from a girl who sounds like Pooja. Later he comes to know that Pooja is alive and she is the one who burned down the mental hospital as she didn’t want to be there. Rahul and Pooja escape everyone’s prying eyes far away. However her father catches up to them and wants to take her back to a mental institution. This upsets Pooja so much that she takes a gun from the cop and shoots herself. Rahul watches helplessly as she dies.
The film is directed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Jonny Bakshi and Nittin Keni. The star cast includes Rahul Roy, Pooja Bhatt, Avtar Gill and Pooja Bedi.
