Asha lives in a hostel and is usually tortured by nightmares. Her normal life has been disrupted by these horrid dreams and goes to her lover Vijay who is also a qualified psychiatrist. He understands that Asha’s dreams are of her aunt trying to strangle her. Years ago Asha’s mother was murdered in her mansion, by her and this has had a deep impact on Asha. Vijay then decides to take her to the mansion where she grew up in. but that does go too well as there are murders one after another, especially after her cousin Ashok comes to stay with them. The film is directed by Danny Denzongpa and produced by N N Sippy. The music is composed by R D Burman. The star cast includes Rajesh Khanna, Kim, Aruna Irani, Lalita Pawar , Jagdeep, Danny Denzongpa, A K Hangal, Suresh Oberoi, Mukri, Manmaujee, Mohan Choti, Bhagwan, Mukri, Shashikala and
