Phullu is a honest and good hearted man. He struggles to find a decent employment so his mother meanwhile sells quilts for a living. The raw material for it is brought by Phullu from the city. While he is there, he also usually buys other things for women of the village. He then gets married and realizes that his wife keeps taking all the red pieces of cloths that he buys for the quilts. Since he knows nothing about menstruation he cannot two and two together. On a visit to the city he meets a lady doctor at a chemist who tells him about menstruation and understands his wife’s problems and her constant itching at night.
Plullu then makes up his mind to relieve his wife of the troubles of menstruation and buys her sanitary pads with the money they have kept aside for his sister’s wedding jewelry. His mother of furious at learning this and kicks him out of the house. He however is undeterred and makes his own low-cost sanitary pads. The film is directed by Abhishek Saxena and produced by Pusha Chaudhary,Anmol Kapoor, Kshitij Chaudhary and Raman Kapoor. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Shaheen Iqbal. The star cast includes Sharib Hashmi, Jyotii Sethi and Nutan Surya.
