Pihu

Pihu is a thriller film directed and written by Vinod Kapri and co produced by Ronnie Screwala, Siddharth Roy Kapur and Shilpa Jindal,  Starring Myra the two year old girl in the title role. 
The film is about the little girl who gets trapped in her own house with no escape. Pihu was premiered at the International Film Festival of India in 2017 in the Panoroma Section and was also screened at the Fair International Film Festival and has won the Grand Prize as the one of the best feature films in the International Category by People’s Choice.   The film released in November 2018 was shot in Greater Noida in the Gandharav Society.
The story begins with the  birthday celebrations as Myra’s (Pihu) turns 2 years old.The sequences of events following her father Gaurav leaving for Kolkota on office work is nerve wrecking when the little lgirl gets locked inside a fridge in search of food, and the mother is dead.  When the father returns home he is shocked to see in the climax scene that Pihu is disordered in her dollhouse  
The film has a tragic incident related to the innocent two year old Pihu trapped away from the outside world without food and water and all alone to handle herself. Pihu goes through to survive whole lot of ordeals in the film. The story that is so hard to digest with a 2 year old child going through the series of suffering.
