Minal, played by Tapsee Pannu, Falak, played by Kirti Kulhari and Andrea, played by Andrea Tariang are friends and housemates. They all are self sufficient, independent women who work hard and party hard. The three girls get into trouble when they meet three boys and decide to party later with them at a lodge. Things go really haywire when one of the boys try to force himself on Meenal and she hits a bottle on his head and flees the scene.
The Three boys in question are Rajveer Singh, played by Angad Bedi, Raunak, played by Raashul Tandena and Vishwajyoti, played by Tushar Pandey. An injured Rajveer who tried to sexually assault Minal is rushed to the hospital and gets stitches close to his eye. He is infuriated and plans to get back at the girls.
Meanwhile the girls are scared at what has happened and no one wants to discuss it anymore. Until one day the owner of the apartment they have rented comes over to tell them that someone has phoned him and said that he should ask the girls to vacate the place as they aren’t decent girls. The girls fear for their lives. While Minal goes for her daily jogs she sees a man named Deepak, played by Amitabh Bachchan staring at her. He later introduces himself as a lawyer when they find out further about him.
Finally Minal presses charges against Rajveer who counter accuses her of trying to extort money from him. The case is taken to court where Deepak agrees to fight Minal’s case. After many legal evidences and arguments the judge finally proves Rajveer wrong in outraging the modesty of a woman and Minal is proved innocent.
Pink is directed by Aniruddha Roy Chawdhury, and produced by Ronnie Lahiri, Sheel Kuma and Shoojit Sircar. The music is composed by Shantanu Moitra, Faiza Mujahid and Anupam Roy.
