Prabhat is an Emotional-Romantic Family Tragedy Drama exceptionally crafted by Sikandar Khanna. The Story revolves around the life of Sarita (played by Jaya Kausalya_- A Simple Village girl who marries a wealthy man Ramesh (played by Roopesh Kumar)- living in the city and moves with him. Ramesh sold her to a Brothel headed by Champa Bai (played by Zaheeda) and vows Sarita that he will return. Sarita- in hope waits for him but champabai always trie to convince her he won't come and step into prostitution.
