Vijay and Laxmi live a humble life with their son Raja and perform musical shows to make ends meet. Dinesh is a wealthy man who was once besotted by Laxmi in college but she broke his heart and married Vijay. Now plotting his revenge on her, he tries to molest her while her husband is away in London for a show. As fate has it, Vijay comes back early due to his flight being delayed and saves Laxmi. Unfortunately he himself gets killed and his friend Tom gets badly injured. Taking this opportunity, Dinesh blames all Laxmi for Vijay’s murder and she is sentenced to life in prison. Raja grows up with his parents and does stage shows to make a living. He meets Renu and falls in love with her.
When Laxmi is released from Jail, she is happy to know her son is doing well, but wants revenge from Dinesh. Raja now has only one goal in life, and that is to see the destruction of Dinesh. The film is directed by Lawerence D'souza and produced by Raam Raj Kalamandir. The music is composed by Rajesh Roshan. The star cast includes Govinda, Shilpa Shirodhar,Moushumi Chatterjee, Danny Denzongpa,Tej Sapru, Shashi Kiran, Jeetendra and Vinod Mehra.
