Haria lives a poor lifestyle in the village. His son Ashwini however, goes to the city to complete his studies and returns nback. He then meets the happy-go-lucky village girl Soni, who happens to be the sister of the Thakur. Ashwini however thinks that she is the maid servant and both fall in love. Soon he comes to know the truth about Soni and the Thakur’s relationship and feels guilty. He begs Soni that they cannot be
together as they have a vast gap between them and they should forget eachother. She however insists that she is in love with the man not his caste. When the Thakur comes to know about the budding romance between Ashwini and Soni, he is furious. He locks up Soni in the house and sets Haria’s hut on fire. Soni manages to escape home and saves Ashwini but unfortunately Haria dies in the fire. Meanwhile Soni’s marriage is fixed to the man of her father’s choice. She at the moment Baraat is about to come escapes but sadly falls into the hands of goons. Ashwini then along with Thakur Vijay save her. Soni’s brother then feels guilty and realizes how much love can conquer and gives the young lovers his blessings. The film is directed by Shama Kakkar and Lalit Kohli. The film is produced by Shama Kakkar. The music is composed by Iqbal Qureshi. The star cast includes Sham, Abhishek, Bharat Kapoor, Bharat Bhushan, Bhagwan and Lalita Kohil.
