This is a story of a brave and tough educated woman who decides to fight for the betterment of her village people. In spite of being put in a dangerous path she keeps at her strong will to do what is right. Based on a true story of an IAS officer Payal, played by Shreya Narayan, who is married off to Arun, played by Chandrachur Singh. Her marriage is on the rocks and her personal life is in shambles yet she comes out a winner despite all odds.
Payal suffers psychologically, physically and sexually in the marriage. Yet she works towards protecting the land of the poor farmers from land sharks and builders who want these lands for their own personal gains. She struggles for more than 20 years before she can get freedom from the land mafias in her village.
The movie is written and directed by Shekhar S Jha and produced by Chirag Bhesania. The music is composed by Abhishek Ray and cinematography is by Kohung Chiang. The action director is Saini Johray and singers are Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, Shaan, Abhishek Ray and Bhoomi Trivedi.
