Kasturi Prasad is a wealthy industrialist and lives a lavish life with his wife and daughter Neelima. One day while saving his life, one of his employees named Suryanath loses his legs. Kasturi feels sorry for him but grateful for saving his life and lets Kasturi’s son Chandra work at his home. Neelima and Chandra soon become friends. Eventually they both fall in love. When Kasturi comes to know of the affair, he is furious and sends his men to kill Chandra, however end up killing Suryanath accidentally. Chandra is then accused and convicted of his murder. He is thus sent to a youth detention center. The jailer of the center understands that Chandra is of good character and his love for Neelima. He tries to get the lovers together.
The film is directed by K Murali, Mohan Rao, Harish and Rama Viz and produced by D Rama Naidu. The music is composed by Anand Milind and the story is written by Paruchuri Brothers. The star cast includes Dalip Tahil,Harish Kumar, Karishma Kapoor, Asrani, Bharat Bhushan, Shafi Inamdar, Anjana Mumtaz and Paresh Rawal.
