Mohan Kumar meets Devi and falls in love with her. Devi however dislikes Mohan and refuses his proposal to marry her. He however is adamant and shows how much he loves her. Seeing his dedication and honesty, Devi realizes that Mohan really loves her. She thus agrees to marry him. They plan a wedding date. One day Mohan comes to know that his close friend Ashok also loves Devi. Thus he decides to get out of her life and let his friend marry Devi. Also the doctor informs Mohan that he has cancer and will not live very long. Mohan never shows up for his wedding leaving Devi alone and in despair. He is said to be seen with a prostitute named Bela. Bela asks Mohan to marry her and he does. Meanwhile Devi marries Ashok in anger so that she can teach Mohan a lesson. Later Devi learns the truth about what Mohan has done and
goes to meet him but unfortunately he gives his blessings to Devi and dies. The film is directed by Dasari Narayana Rao and produced by A Nageswara Rao. The music is composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The star cast includes Jeetendra, Prem Chopra, Dina Pathak, Rekha, Reena Roy, Ashalata, Dinesh Hingoo, Master Hari, Ashok Kumar, Vinod Mehra, Asrani, C M Shvaduri, Aditya Kumar and Anita Raj.
