Yash, played by Rishi Kapoor is a wealthy industrialist, who has recently stepped down as the company’s CEO and given the reins to his son Rajiv, played by Vikas Bhalla. Rajiv, although highly educated and smart finds it intimidating to fill in his dad’s shoes, but nonetheless accepts the challenge. Meanwhile one day Yash takes his two dogs for a walk early morning and is almost run over by a car. The driver of the car turns out to be a woman named Sheetal, played by Dimple Kapadia. She apologizes but he calls the police. She explains to the cops that walking two dogs at a time is against the law. The two part ways.
Meanwhile Sheetal is busy preparing for her daughter Riya’s marriage to a wealthy businessman named Sanju. But his family isnt very happy with the alliance as Riya is from a lower status. His mother is always trying to break off the engagement at any given opportunity. Sheetal and Yash meet again at a wedding and realize they have a lot in common and become friends. They eventually go on their first date and are seen by Sanju’s mother, who now wants to delay the wedding again. Yash and Sheetal announce to their respective families that they want to marry each other.
The movie is directed by Hriday Shetty and produced by Rishi Kapoor. The music is composed by Jatin Lalit.
