Chandrakant is a young and ambitious man looks for a job and comes across Prabhudas, who thinks he is his friend’s son. He not only gives him a job but also lets him stay in his house so he gets acquainted with his daughter Shanti. Soon Chandrakant and Shanti fall in love and get married. Prabhudas realizes his mistake and humiliates Chandrakant in front of people one day. The latter decides he will become just as wealthy and teach him a lesson. So he becomes busy in building his empire and in the process leaves his wife lonely. She gives birth to a
boy Ravi and soon becomes ill and dies. By the time Chandrakant realizes his mistake it is too late and he feels sorry for treating his wife like that. Ravi grows up to fall in love with Manorama and soon they both get married. Ravi is given the task of taking care of the business and he too begins to neglect his wife. Manorama leaves home and the matter reaches divorce. When Chandrakant comes to know this, he makes Ravi understand and appreciate his wife. Thus the family comes together in an emotional moment.
