Priya is a brilliant student and an ambitious girl who wants to pursue a great career for herself someday and be successful. She lives in a village in Ranikhet and is brought up with traditional values. She soon wins a scholarship from her college to study in the U.K. She is engaged to Rohit, played by Milind Sonam, who works as a teacher in the same village. Priya wishes to continue her further studies before she ties the knot with Rohit, but he is unhappy about that. Meanwhile Nisha comes from a wealthy family and after losing her mother at a young age has to tolerate her rude and nasty step-mother. She also goes to the UK to study in the same college as Priya.
Nisha and Priya meet at the university and instantly become friends. Soon Rohit begins to worry about Priya who hasn’t communicated with him for a while. So he flies to London to check on her. On meeting her he gets the feeling that she is not very keen on their relationship anymore. However a lonely Nisha seems to be drawn to a dedicated and loving Rohit.
The movie is directed by Samarjit Dasgupta and produced by Magic Mantra Visions. The cinematography is by S. Pappu and the music is composed by Shantanu Moitra.
