Kaali is a doting brother to his sister Seeta. They both stay in a humble lifestyle in a small hutment. They work hard to make ends meet. Kaali works as an assistant to a qualified engineer named Vinay. Meanwhile Seeta’s close friend falls in love with Kaali and they get married. Vinay himself falls in love with Seeta. However before they can take the relationship forward, there is a terrible accident and Vinay ends up losing his one arm. He however blames Kaali for the accident. The latter will not let Seeta have any relationship with Vinay at any cost.
The film is directed by Basu Chatterjee and produced by B Loganathan. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri and the story is written by Uma Chandran. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Vinay Shukla. The star cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Vinod Mehra, Padmini Kolhapure, Shakti Kapoor and Devan Verma.
