Suraj lives a poor lifestyle with his widowed father and sister Sita. He goes off to the city to complete his education while his father and sister take care of the house. When Suraj returns he is shocked to find that his house is being auctioned as they have to repay the zamindar Bansilal. The house gets auctioned but the money is insufficient to pay the loan. Suraj then decides to work in the city to repay the remainder of the loan.
Meanwhile Suraj’s father kills himself and Sita too is killed. Suraj is enraged and comes back to take revenge from Bansilal, but manages to kill two of his aids and he himself escapes. Bansilal then notifies the police who arrest Suraj. Suraj now escapes and goes on a rampage to find Bansilal. The film is directed by S S Ravichandra and produced by G Hanumantha Rao. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri. The star cast includes Jeetendra, Shatrughan Sinha, Hema Malini, Madhavi, Vidya Sinha, Kader Khan, Ranjeet and Shakti Kapoor.
