Shyam and Kamal are close friends from childhood days. When Kamal is unable to pay his school fees, Shyam helps him. Kamal thus completes his studies and becomes a diligent and honest IPS officer. Shyam on the other hand re-locates to Bombay and becomes a gangster, now known with the name Rajeshwar. He kills a well known politician for molesting his lover Geeta. Unable to nab Rajeshwar, Kamal is asked to take up the case of arresting Rajeshwar. Thus he relocates with his wife and sister to Bombay. Soon he realizes that Rajeshwar is non other than his childhood friend Shyam. Shyam is accused of molesting Shama but the former pleads guilty. All the evidence are aginst him and thus he is imprisoned for 7 years. Shyam is now burning with revenge against Kamal and waits for his sentence to be over, to wreck havoc in his friend’s life. The film is directed by Raj N Sippy and produced by Salim. The star cast includes Dharmendra, Shatrughan Sinha, Jayaprada, Smita Patil, Poonam Dhillon and Shakti Kapoor.
