Aamir is brought up in a wealthy family that is mundane and boring. He is brought up in a protected environment which he does not enjoy. He is in love with an older woman named Neeta but she ignores his affection and does not see a future with him. One night on the way back from a party mafia don Karmali attacks them and rapes Neeta. Aamir tries to fight back but he held to watch helplessly. Little does he know that a cop named Kapoor was a witness to this brutal crime but remains silent as he is on Karmali’s payroll. Aamir in a desperate attempt to get justice goes to Kapoor who pretends to not know anything. Despite being on Karmali’s side, Kapoor hates him as years ago he got into a tiff with him that almost cost him his career and life.
One day at a party thrown by Karmali, Kapoor misbehaves and gets drunk and is suspended from his duties as a cop. Later not having anything to loose, he confides in Aamir and becomes his mentor. Aamir gets into a violent streak and his first murder brings him guilt, but soon he becomes used to it. At Kamali’s sister’s wedding Kapoor and Aamir confront him and while Kapoor is shot dead by him, Aamir finally picks up the gun and shoots Kamali. The film is directed by Aditya Bhattacharya and produced by Asif Noor. The music is composed by Ranjit Barot and the screenplay is by Aditya Bhattacharya. The cinematography is by Santosh Sivan. The star cast includes Aamir Khan,Pankaj Kapur, Supriya Pathak, Jagdeep and Naina Balsavar.
