Sanjana, played by Bipasha Basu and Aditya, played by Dino Morea are in love and get married. However after a few years of marriage cracks in their marriage begin to appear as Aditya is always busy with his work and doesn’t give enough time to Sanjana. She is frustrated and upset at his behavior. One day at a party Sanjana has had enough of Aditya’s behavior and leaves in fury with he car keys and drives away. On the way she hears a girl’s voice and loses control of the car and meets with an accident but survives. Aditya is relieved that she survived and wants to give his marriage a new lease of life. Thus the couple decide to go for a second honeymoon to Ooty, where they first met.
They stay in a secluded bungalow in the woods and enjoy their privacy. But soon strange things begin to happen in the house. Unexplained voices and movement start bothering Sanjana. One day she sees another woman’s face in the mirror and it looks like she is injured. She confides in her friend who takes her to a doctor who understands paranormal activities. He tells her there might be an evil spirit in the house. Soon it turns out that a girl called Malini was in love with Aditya but when he brushed her off after a brief affair, she committed suicide inside the house. The spirit enters Sanjana’s body and makes Aditya confess to the affair.
The movie is directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Mahesh Bhatt, Mukesh Bhatt, Kumar Taurani and Ramesh Taurani. The music is composed by Nadeem-Shravan.
