Rafoo Chakkar is a love story of 1975 produced by Nadiadwala and directed by Narender Bedi. The film is inspired by the American film called the Some Like It Hot. Starring Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Bindu, Paintal and Asrani.
Two musicians Dev (Rishi Kapoor) and Salim(Paintal) happen to witness a murder and get spotted by the murderers and they are after the two to kill the only evidence they have which are these two boys. To save themselves from the murderers they get into a disguised as women and join a group of girls in the train who are on their way to Kashmir. On the train Dev meets Ritu (Neetu Singh) who is a part of the girls group. Dev falls in love with Ritu but Ritu is not aware the woman she is getting close to is a man. The film is hilarious with the Rishi Kapoor and Paintal in the women’s clothes and the story takes a twist when Dev has to pretend to be the oil tycoon. The end of the film reveals their true identity as the singers while the romantic pair continue to be in love. The hilarious scene between Paintal and another man falling in love set the trend first time of the slapstick between two men in love with each other.
