Sandhya Bhatnagar, played by Megna Naidu is born blind but that hasn’t stopped her from being a successful novelist and writer. Sandhya has endured many struggles and painful experiences in her past that have made her who she is today. She has dark and disturbing past memories that have scarred her mind forever. As a child her father died and her mother remarried. Unfortunately the other man who was to be her father was abusive and an alcoholic. His friend ended up raping Sandhya as a teenager.
As Sandhya grows up she is withdrawn from the world outside and has a phobia of rain. A reporter named Prakash, from a renowned magazine who is a big fan of her writings comes to meet her. He spends time with her to know more about her past and her challenges. Sandhya and Prakash end up falling in love. But there is a dark secret that Prakash too holds and hasn’t yet disclosed it to Sandhya.
The movie is written and directed by Amol Shetge and produced by Manju Bachchan and Vinod Bachchan. The music is composed by Satish Ajay. The cinematography is by Ishwar Bidri.
