Rajababu is the proprietor of a tea plant. Rajababu continuously stands up against the wrongs taking put within the town. A military captain named Sunder Chatterjee cames to the town and meets a young lady called Rani and they drop in cherish with each other. Rani becomes pregnant. Meanwhile , Sunder goes back to war and is harmed in a impact, but Rani considers Sunder is dead. To keep Rani's respect Raja babu weds Rani and acknowledges Sunder's child as his claim. Sunder recoups from his damage and comes back to the town as it were to discover that Rani is married to Raja babu which she incorporates a child. Shankar, another tea domain proprietor tells Sunder that Rani's child is really his child as Rajababu is weak. Shankar kidnap's Sundar's child and begins blackmaling Rajababu. Rajababu is inquired to come to a spot and pay cash to Shankar and take the infant back. When rajababu goes there there's a confontation between him and Shankar in which he gets slaughtered whereas tying to spare the child. Sunder and Rani are joined together but the infant proceeds to consider the late Rajababu as his father.
