Being multilingual in Marathi and Hindi, Raja Shivaji will recount the story of the youthful Shivaji who rebelled against the established order and won the title of Chhatrapati. Playing the title character and directing the film is Riteish Deshmukh. Deshmukh made his feature film debut in 2022 with the hit film Ved.
