With India making progress and development in various fields, many other enemy countries wanted the secret formula. They start conspiring to destroy the nation and take the valuable knowledge. Thus they plant a bomb in the flight carrying scientists Dr. Shrivastava and Dr. Khurana. Meanwhile the Indian secret service assigns the big task of nabbing the culprits to Agent 116 Gopal. He is however still mourning the loss of his fiancé Asha who was mistakenly killed by gunmen who wanted to actually kill him. He begins his investigation and meets with a young dancer named Bijli. Turns out that she has connections with the conspirators, however she is not really who she claims to be and is in the profession for her own revenge. The film is directed by Ravikant Nagaich and produced by P Malikarjuna Rao. The music is composed by R D Burman. The star cast includes Jeetendra, Parveen Babi, Prem Chopra, Paintal, Iftekhar, Ranjet and Rajendranath.
